For those of you who don’t know, Atlantis is a city that has been rumored to have sunken into the bottom of the ocean, but people have never really found any remnants of it. Every time a diver comes across a funny looking comb or brush, it has been attributed to be a possession of a person who perished in the lost city of Atlantis. Atlantis Resorts is completely modeled after the fable, from the fountains and pools to the secluded location of the resort area.

Atlantis Resorts is part of the reason that Paradise Island is such a popular vacation destination in the Bahamas. It has just about everything you could possibly ever want on a vacation, and for that reason people flock there by the thousands at all given time of year, to enjoy the luxuries and amenities, not to mention the peace and serenity that the vacation destination has to offer.

If you are looking to take a cheap vacation, Atlantis Resorts is not where you want to go. While the whole travel package can be obtained for a great deal, the Bahamas (Paradise Island to be more exact) is not the cheapest place to go for vacation. The people there have their own economy, so it can be rather difficult to get things for as cheaply as you might be able to get them otherwise, especially considering the fact that Atlantis is right smack-dab in the middle of resort town, where it can be hard to buy even a cheeseburger for less than six dollars.
